Persicaria affinis ‘Superba’ is a robust, richly flowering perennial with fresh green foliage and striking dark red flower spikes that bloom from summer well into autumn. This cultivar is ideal for borders, naturalistic plantings and prairie-style gardens, where it adds height, movement and intense colour accents. Persicaria affinis ‘Superba’ thrives in sunny to partially shaded positions and prefers fertile, slightly moist soil. It is low-maintenance, fully hardy and very attractive to bees and other pollinators.
