The Alocasia Zebrina is an absolute eye-catcher that immediately brings a tropical atmosphere into your home. This houseplant, also known as the Elephant Ear, owes its name to the unique black-and-white striped stems that are reminiscent of a zebra pattern. Combined with the stylish seagrass basket, this plant forms a beautiful decorative element that fits into any modern interior. The plant is delivered with a height between 70 and 75 centimeters, making it show its presence in the room without dominating the entire space.
The large, arrow-shaped leaves of the Alocasia Zebrina are a glossy green and give the plant a lush appearance. This specific variety is supplied in a pot size of 21 centimeters, which fits perfectly into the included natural basket. The seagrass provides a warm, organic look that contrasts beautifully with the sleek lines of the plant stems. In addition to its aesthetic value, this plant is known for its relatively simple care for an Alocasia species, provided its natural needs are taken into account properly.
Regarding the location, the Zebrina thrives best in a spot with plenty of indirect light. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, while too little light can hinder growth and make the stems weak. The water requirement is average; it is important to keep the soil slightly moist, but prevent the roots from standing in a layer of water to avoid root rot. With this set, you not only get a healthy plant but also a completely styled object that is ready to take a prominent place in your living room or office immediately.
