Heat Pack Terrarium
Thermal Protection for Terrarium Plants
During the winter months, low temperatures can pose a serious risk to terrarium plants during transport.
Terrariums create a delicate and balanced microclimate. Sudden temperature drops — even for a few hours — can disturb this balance and stress the plants inside.
For this reason, we recommend using the Heat Pack Terrarium during the colder season.
Why is it important?
During shipping, parcels may:
-
remain for extended periods in sorting facilities
-
travel overnight
-
pass through areas with freezing or near-freezing temperatures
Even short exposure to temperatures below 5°C (41°F) may cause:
-
leaf damage or darkened foliage
-
condensation imbalance inside the terrarium
-
root stress
-
long-term growth slowdown
The Heat Pack gradually releases gentle warmth for several hours, helping to stabilize the internal temperature of the parcel and protect the terrarium’s ecosystem during transit.
When is it recommended?
✔ Shipments between November and March
✔ Outdoor temperatures below 10°C (50°F)
✔ Deliveries to colder or mountainous regions
✔ Periods of sudden cold waves
Protecting the ecosystem inside
A terrarium is not just a plant — it is a small living environment.
The Heat Pack does not speed up delivery, but it significantly reduces the risk of cold-related stress and helps preserve the internal balance of the terrarium.
For us, prevention is always better than repair — especially when dealing with living ecosystems.
