Persicaria bistorta ‘Superba’ is a robust, richly flowering perennial with fresh green foliage and striking dark pink to purple-red flower spikes that bloom from late spring to mid-summer. This cultivar is ideal for moist borders, naturalistic gardens and pond edges, where it adds height, structure and intense colour accents. Persicaria bistorta ‘Superba’ thrives best in sunny to partially shaded positions in well-moist, fertile soil. It is low-maintenance, fully hardy and attracts bees and butterflies.
