Nepeta × faassenii, commonly known as catmint, is a robust and free-flowering perennial with aromatic grey-green foliage and masses of lavender-blue flowers from late spring well into summer. This popular plant is ideal for borders, edging and mass planting, where it creates a relaxed, natural look and long-lasting colour. Nepeta × faassenii prefers a sunny position and well-drained soil, is low-maintenance and very hardy. It also attracts bees and butterflies and is highly drought tolerant.
